Ba Ria - Vung Tau promotes circular economy in agriculture

The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tàu Province has just issued a plan to implement the Project on Scientific Development and Application, Technology Transfer to promote the circular economy in agriculture by 2030.

The goal is that by 2030, the entire province aims to have at least 20% of scientific and technological tasks in the agriculture sector researched, applied, and transferred to serve the development of the circular economy in agriculture; post-harvest losses of key agricultural, forestry, and fishery products reduced by 0.5-1% per year. The application of circular economy technology in farms, cooperatives, and enterprises will help increase at least 20% of the added value in the agricultural products supply chain.

Some key solutions proposed include raising awareness and responsibility of the people and enterprises; developing and applying science and technology, technical advances, and advanced production processes; developing output markets for products; implementing mechanisms and policies to promote the development of the circular economy in agriculture and enhancing international cooperation...
