With 30 years of development in Vietnam, Thailand’s Amata Group has solidified its position as a leading investor in industrial infrastructure. Đồng Nai was the first destination for Amata in Vietnam, where it has launched five projects with a total investment of over $600 million. Beyond Đồng Nai, the group has continued expanding its footprint in multiple provinces and cities across the country, making significant contributions to sustainable industrial development.

Committed to building eco-friendly and high-tech industrial parks, Amata’s projects in Đồng Nai have become prime investment destinations for global enterprises. The group’s industrial zones boast modern infrastructure and convenient transportation links, facilitating easy access to major cities and seaports. Currently, Amata operates two major industrial parks in Đồng Nai: Amata Industrial Park in Biên Hòa City and Long Thành High-Tech Industrial Park in Long Thành District.

Notably, Amata Industrial Park is one of three industrial zones selected by the central government to pilot the development of an eco-industrial park in accordance with international standards. Leveraging this advantage, Amata has attracted major multinational corporations such as Nestlé, PepsiCo, Swarovski, Shiseido, Brother, Tiger, Kao, Jinko Solar, Autoliv, Foxconn, YKK, and Kingfa. In addition to industrial parks, Amata has developed several other projects, including a commercial center within Amata Industrial Park, Amata Long Thành City, and the Amata Long Thành urban service area.

Amata’s presence in Đồng Nai has not only helped the province attract foreign investment but has also stimulated local economic and social development. Bo Jingen, General Director of Kingfa Science & Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. (China), praised the support from Đồng Nai authorities and Amata Industrial Park since the company was granted its investment registration certificate. Kingfa Vietnam is currently in the final stages of preparation, recruiting staff before commencing operations.

Following its success in Đồng Nai, Amata has continued its expansion, managing over 3,000 hectares of industrial, commercial, and service land. The group has attracted more than 200 multinational corporations, with a total investment exceeding $6 billion, creating employment opportunities for over 60,000 workers across four key industrial parks: Amata Industrial Park (Đồng Nai), Long Thành High-Tech Industrial Park (Đồng Nai), Amata City Hạ Long Industrial Park (Quảng Ninh), and Quảng Trị Industrial Park (Quảng Trị).

Beyond infrastructure development, Amata also focuses on providing comprehensive services and utilities, ensuring stable electricity and clean water supplies, advanced wastewater treatment, and a strong telecommunications network. The group is actively transitioning to renewable energy, particularly solar power, as part of its strategy to reduce emissions and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

According to Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Vietnam Public Company Limited, the group strategically selects locations near deep-water ports and airports to optimize operational efficiency. Amata’s long-term goal is to develop eco-friendly, high-tech industrial parks that attract enterprises with advanced technology and high added value. Simultaneously, the group is committed to building smart urban areas with comprehensive amenities to accommodate the growing workforce.

Nguyễn Thị Hoàng, Vice Chairwoman of Đồng Nai People's Committee, commended Amata for its continuous efforts in upgrading and transforming its industrial zones into sustainable, eco-friendly models. She noted that Amata Industrial Park has now become a benchmark for sustainable industrial development in Vietnam. Đồng Nai authorities pledge ongoing support for Amata, ensuring it remains an attractive investment hub for both domestic and international businesses.
