(ĐN)- Dong Nai province is accelerating the comprehensive planning project for preserving, restoring, and enhancing the Chua Chan mountain scenic site through 2030. Spanning over 1,700 hectares across five localities in Xuan Loc district, the project aims to transform Chua Chan—also known as "the second most beautiful mountain in the Southeast"—into a major spiritual and eco-tourism destination.

The plan includes restoring historical and cultural landmarks such as temples and French-era buildings, while developing new functional zones for eco-resorts, entertainment, and cultural-tourism activities. Infrastructure will be expanded with multiple cable car lines and mountain railways to improve access and connectivity.
Set to begin construction in late 2025, the project is expected to boost local socio-economic development, reshape Xuan Loc’s landscape, and elevate Dong Nai’s tourism status nationally and internationally. Authorities are also calling for private investment from reputable developers to implement large-scale tourism infrastructure in line with the approved plans.
