$34m cold chain logistics center started in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- On March 19, Lotte Global Logistics Vietnam, a subsidiary of South Korea's Lotte Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Dong Nai Cold Chain Logistics Center at Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Nhon Trach District. The event was attended by Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Vo Tan Duc.

Spanning 5.5 hectares with an investment of nearly $34 million, the project will provide integrated logistics services, including cold and ambient temperature distribution, bonded warehouse operations, and express delivery services.

Chairman Vo Tan Duc emphasized that Dong Nai considers foreign direct investment (FDI) a key driver of economic growth. The province currently has 37 established industrial parks covering over 13,000 hectares, attracting investors from 45 countries and territories, with South Korea leading in both project numbers and registered capital. Korean enterprises in Dong Nai employ nearly 146,000 workers.

Lotte Global Logistics Vietnam, which has operated in Nhon Trach 6 since 2021, is expanding its presence with this logistics center, aligning with Dong Nai’s strategy to become a key transport and logistics hub in the Southern Economic Region.
