173 cases of goods violations discovered

(ĐN)- According to the Department of Industry and Trade, during the peak year-end shopping season and the recent Lunar New Year period, production and business activities in Dong Nai proceeded as usual. Market demand remained stable, and the prices of essential consumer goods showed no significant fluctuations. There were no incidents of hoarding or stockpiling, nor was there any shortage of goods reported in the province.

The supply of goods at traditional markets, supermarkets, shopping centers, and convenience store chains was abundant, offering a wide variety of models and types to meet consumer demand. Gas stations across the province operated normally, with no closures due to fuel shortages. The supply of gasoline and oil remained stable, ensuring sufficient availability for consumers.

Regarding market inspection and supervision, authorities conducted 178 inspections during this peak period, uncovering 173 violations related to the production and business activities of goods. The total amount of fines collected and submitted to the state budget exceeded 1.3 billion VND.
