(DN)- According to the draft National Environmental Report 2024 by the Government, as of the end of 2024, Vietnam had established 447 industrial parks (IPs) covering a total area of approximately 93,000 hectares, with 304 of them already operational, spanning around 63,000 hectares of industrial land.
Regarding centralized wastewater treatment facilities, 278 out of the 304 operational IPs have wastewater treatment systems meeting environmental standards, accounting for 91%. In Đồng Nai, by the end of 2024, the province had established 36 IPs covering a total area of 12,800 hectares. Among them, 32 operational IPs have centralized wastewater treatment systems that comply with environmental protection regulations, surpassing the national average by 9%.
