These areas boast famous natural attractions such as vast stone clusters, caves, pristine forests, and tranquil countryside scenery. Among these is a 3-star OCOP-certified community-based tourism product.
Along National Highway 20 in Dinh Quan, travelers are often captivated by towering stone formations like Ba Chong Rock and Elephant Rock with its giant Buddha statue, locally known as “Ong Phat Rock.” These unique landscapes, paired with lush greenery, create a striking natural space.
Dong Nai benefits from strong infrastructure development, including key regional projects like Long Thanh International Airport, set to open in 2026, and upcoming rail and highway networks connecting the Southeast region and beyond. These projects are expected to boost Dong Nai’s tourism growth.

Nguyen Nho Kien, director of Meerkat Travel, specializes in adventure tours exploring Dinh Quan’s caves, forests, and stone fields. Their flagship product “Gia Canh – The Peaceful Land” invites visitors to cycle through rice fields and explore Hang Doi Cave. Other tours include biking across Gia Canh’s protected forest and the vast Seven Mau Rock, notable for its mysterious forest atop a nearly 10-hectare rock plateau.
Similarly, Tri An Adventure, led by sales director Than Van Linh, focuses on nature and mountain exploration tours in Tan Phu and Dinh Quan. Since 2021, they have added homestays and camping in Phu Dien commune, offering visitors immersive village experiences among rice paddies and stone formations like Nam Tai and Chu Thap Rocks.

Despite these rich offerings, visitors seek more supporting services such as dining, accommodation, and souvenir shops. Tourist Tran Thi Thuy Dung from Ho Chi Minh City noted the lack of souvenir options and local specialties during her recent trip, emphasizing that simple, locally made gifts enrich the travel experience.
Dong Nai, known as the fruit capital of the Southeast and home to many traditional craft villages, holds strong potential to expand tourism revenue and promote local farmers through better marketing and service development.
In short, Dong Nai’s “stone fields” and rural landscapes offer unique, authentic experiences. With further investment in tourism infrastructure and services, this region is poised to become a notable destination for nature and adventure seekers alike.
