Footwear exports hit over US$692 mln in Jan-Feb

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s enterprises earned over US$692 million from footwear export in Jan-Feb, up more than 14.5% compared to the same period last year, according to the Department of Statistics. 

Since the beginning of the year, the footwear industry has shown significant growth as enterprises had received numerous orders from foreign partners. However, according to footwear manufacturers in Dong Nai, while there are more orders, there is still a lack of large, long-term orders. These footwear producers in Dong Nai, as well as nationwide, are facing fierce competition from similar products from some other countries and territories.

At the same time, the demands of foreign partners are increasing, prioritizing orders for factories applying modern technology and utilizing recycled materials, operating under circular production models.
