Retail sales of goods, services expected to up 8% in 2024

(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s total retail sales of goods and revenue from consumer services in 2024 is expected at VND283.7 trillion, up 8% year-on-year, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

Despite the difficulties of the domestic and international economic situation in 2023, the provincial trade and service sector still maintained stable growth, making positive contributions to local economic development.

Accordingly, the province’s total retail sales of consumer goods and services saw a year-on-year increase of around 12.2% to more than VND262.6 trillion during 2023.

Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang of the provincial People's Committee has requested the Industry and Trade sector continue to focus on tourism services and logistics, which are advantageous for the province.
