Dong Nai’s domestic collection expected to hit over VND37 trln in 2024

(ĐN) - On Jan 10, Dong Nai Taxation Department held a meeting to review activities in 2023 and launch tasks for next year. Chairman Vo Tan Duc of the provincial People’s Committee attended the meeting.

Despite facing difficulties due to the economic slowdown, the tax sector with determined efforts managed to achieve and exceed the 2023’s targets. Particularly, local domestic collection reached nearly VND40.5 trillion, equivalent to 101% of the yearly plan. Of the total, Dong Nai collected over VND2.3 trillion in revenue from land use and more than VND2.4 trillion in revenue from lottery.  

Domestic budget revenue in Dong Nai is targeted at over VND37.3 trillion in 2024. To achieve the assigned target, Chairman Vo Tan Duc asked the tax sector to continue efforts to provide taxpayers with tax support policies as well as government policies regarding macroeconomic stability measures and inflation control, aiming to alleviate difficulties for businesses, contributing to increasing budget revenues.
