(ĐN)- The consumer price index (CPI) of Dong Nai in October fell by 0.04 percent from the previous month, the provincial Statistics Bureau reported.
Among the commodity groups, transport saw the strongest decrease (1.92 percent). The fall was attributed to the decline of petrol and gas prices in tandem with global fuel prices, contributing to the decrease in CPI in October.
The average CPI in the last 10 months of 2023 in Dong Nai rose by 2.26 percent against the same period in 2022. Among nine groups of commodities and services experiencing rising prices in the period, education witnessed the highest increase.
