On July 25, the delegation visited and surveyed a famous durian garden in Salaeng commune, H.Mueang district, Chanthaburi province to exchange experiences on durian cultivation. After that, the delegation had a working session with Governor of Thailand's Chanthaburi province Monsit Paisarntanawat, departments and durian association of Chanthaburi province where is renowned for its delicious durian cultivation.
During the session, both sides discussed support policies to develop durian supply chain, diversify processed products, seed, organic farming and advanced technology application in durian production, etc.
According to Vice Chairman Vo Van Phi, Dong Nai desires to sign a memorandum of understanding with Chanthaburi province to coordinate and support each other in agricultural development.
