(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s index of industrial production (IIP) in April rose by 7.9% against the same period of last year, according to the provincial Department of Statistics.
The rise was attributed to growth in key sectors such as footwear, electronic, textile and garment, etc.
In the period, 22 out of 27 industries saw slight increases, the remaining sectors saw difficulties due to increasing prices of materials, tightening monetary policy due to inflation, and the risk of economic recession.
