Of the total, the foreign-invested sector imported over US$3.7 billion, down 5.9 percent year-on-year.
The import of items decreased sharply such as chemicals (down 29 percent), material plastic (over 26 percent).
The Republic of Korea, China, the US and Taiwan were the largest markets of Dong Nai in the first four months.
