The southern province has issued a detailed plan to build its section of the ring road No. 3.
The province is speeding up the completion of relevant procedures to ensure the project can be executed on schedule, the local media reported.
The province is set to register for the 2022 capital plan in August and approve an environmental impact assessment report of the project in mid-November.
Some 70% of cleared land for the project will be handed over in late 2023, while the province will hand over all cleared land before April 2024.
The Beltway No. 3 project, which will link HCMC, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, is divided into eight components, with each city/province responsible for two.
The province has chosen the Nhon Trach District land fund development center as the investor of the land reclamation, resettlement and compensation subproject.
The 76.3-kilometer-long beltway will need some 643 hectares of land and require over VND75.3 trillion. The road is set to be completed in 2025 and be opened to traffic in 2026.
