This has been the second incline since late last year. The retail price of a 12kg cooking gas cylinder now ranges between VND407,000 and VND429,000.
The price rise was attributed to a sharp increase in the global gas price, which is USD555 per tonne now, a rise of USD5 per tonne from the previous month.
