(ĐN)- In 2022, 16 new cooperatives of agriculture were established in Dong Nai, bringing the total of cooperatives of agriculture to 199.
Total charter capital of these cooperatives reached nearly VND508 billion, with the participation of some 3,900 members.
Of them, 109 cooperatives are operating in the field of cultivation, 60 in services, the other in husbandry and aquatic production. Many of them have been applying high technology into agricultural production and joined linkage chains.
They continued enhancing their roles in supporting their members to apply high technology into agricultural production as well as building linkage chains from production to consumption.
In addition, the cooperatives were also active in taking part in “One commune, one product” (OCOP) program.
