This has been the sixth decline in a row, with a total reduction of VND110,000 per 12kg tank. The retail price of a 12kg cooking gas cylinder now ranges between VND405,500 and VND432,000.
The price fall was attributed to a decrease in the global gas price, which is USD575 per tonne now, a fall of USD65 per tonne from the previous month.
