(ĐN)- Dong Nai raked in US$912 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) as of September 20, down 8% year-on-year, according to the Department of Planning and Investment.
Particularly, nearly US$376.9 million had been injected into 34 newly-licenced projects. Meanwhile, more than US$535.1 million had been added into 61 underway projects.
Most of the new projects are in line with the province’s policy, which is attracting high-tech projects, support projects, and those that are friendly with the environment.
Republic of Korea, Japan and Taiwan topped the list of the nations and territories pouring capital in the province in the period. Industry, trade and services, renewable energy and logistics continued to lure the FDI capital.
Dong Nai is expected to exceed this year's FDI attraction target of VND1 billion.
