(ĐN)- As of early September 2022, 305 firms in Dong Nai province that meet requirements for gold jewelry and fine arts production have been issued licenses for their operations from the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), 5 firms higher those in June 2022, reported Dong Nai Branch of SBV.
Currently, jewelry and fine arts gold production in Dong Nai has been strictly inspected on quality and weight. Firms who commit in trading under-quality gold will be strictly fined.
In addition, there are two firms in the province which are licensed by SBV for importing gold materials for processing gold jewelry and fine arts for export.
As for gold piece trading, SBV has given licenses to 68 transaction points under branches of commercial banks, Dong Nai Branch of Phu Nhuan Gold and Jewelry JSC and Dong Nai Branch of Sai Gon Gold and Jewelry Company.
