At the reception, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang of the provincial People’s Committee briefed the delegation on the province’s socio-economic, the potentials of Dong Nai in economic development and luring investment.
Accordingly, there are 251 Japan’s projects worth more than US$5 billion, ranking third among countries and territories having investment in Dong Nai, adding the province’s authorities always create favorable conditions for investors to increase investment in Dong Nai. The province has signed 14 MOUs at provincial level and five MOUs with departments and sectors with Japan.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Yuhiko Matsuda thanked the Chairwoman her warmly welcome to the delegation, introducing the prefecture’s potentials and strengths. There are 20 businesses from Ehime prefecture investing in Vietnam, but only one in Dong Nai province. Thus, he hoped that the prefecture will encourage more businesses to increase their investment in Dong Nai.
