(ĐN) – Dong Nai reached more than US$321 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first six months of 2022, equal to 42 percent of the amount in the same period last year, announced the Department of Planning and Investment.
Specifically, 12 projects received investment licenses with a total registered capital of approximately US$99 million, mainly came from Taiwan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Japan and China. Other 34 projects registered additional capital of more than US$222.4 million.
Among countries and territories investing in Dong Nai between January and June, Taiwan ranked first with nearly US$63 million, followed by the RoK with over US$18 million.
Currently, the province has 1,549 valid FDI projects with total registered capital of nearly US$32.5 billion.
