Dong Nai's CPI grows 3.11 percent in 6 months

(ĐN)- The consumer price index (CPI) of Dong Nai in the first half of 2022 rose by 3.11 percent against the same period last year, the provincial Statistics Bureau reported.

(ĐN)- The consumer price index (CPI) of Dong Nai in the first half of 2022 rose by 3.11 percent against the same period last year, the provincial Statistics Bureau reported.

In June, the province’s CPI increased 0.58 percent from the previous month, and 4.15 percent year-on-year.

Among the 11 commodity groups, two saw strong price increases, including transport (up 19.6%); culture, entertainment and tourism (up 3.3%).

Hikes of petrol and gas prices in tandem with global fuel prices, and prices of essential goods and services, contributed to the increase in the overall CPI in the last six months.

In Jan-June, gold prices increased by 3.59 percent, while USD prices fell by 0.19 percent compared to the same period last year.
