(ĐN) - The People's Committee of Long Thanh District on May 17 handed over additional nearly 15 hectares of cleared land to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam to develop the Long Thanh International Airport project.
(ĐN) - The People's Committee of Long Thanh District on May 17 handed over additional nearly 15 hectares of cleared land to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam to develop the Long Thanh International Airport project.
Of the 15 hectares, 14 hectares of land belongs to the first phase of the big-ticket airport project, while the remainder is of the second phase. Dong Nai has targeted to hand over the whole 2,532 hectares for the first phase of the project in May.
Over 2,258 hectares of 2,532 hectares of land set for the first phase of the project has been handed over, reaching nearly 90% of the total.
The Long Thanh International Airport project will cover some 5,000 hectares of land and have an annual capacity of 100 million passengers and five million tons of cargo. The project needs some VND336.6 trillion, including over VND114 trillion, for the first phase.
