This is the second decrease after six consecutive hikes of petrol prices in 2022.
Accordingly, the retail price of E5RON92 fell by VND1,021 per litre and is now sold at VND27,309 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of RON95 declined by VND1,039 to a maximum of VND29,153 per litre.
Meanwhile, the prices of diesel 0.05S went up VND1,447 per litre to 25,080 VND, and that of kerosene also increased by VND1,519 per litre to be sold at VND23,764 per litre.
The decline was partly thanked to Resolution No. 18/2022/UBTVQH15 which took effect from April 1 on the adjustments of the environmental protection tax on fuels, which results in a reduction of 700-2,000 VND per litre.
