In Jan-March, Dong Nai’s footwear sector posted more than US$1.2 billion in export turnover, up 7.1% versus the year-ago figure.
This figure accounts for some 19.6 percent of the province’s total export revenue in this period.
The US was the province’s largest footwear export market with revenue of around US$522 million, followed by Belgium with US$185 million, China, US$148 million, Germany, US$39 million, and Japan, US$36 million.
