(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export revenue in the first quarter of this year was estimated at US$6.2 billion, up 14 percent year-on-year.
It is forecasted that Dong Nai’s export will continue to bounce back thanks to the recovery of the global economy, the implementation of free trade agreements (FTAs) to which Vietnam is a signatory.
In March alone, the export value topped US$2.2 billion, up nearly 30 percent month-on-month.
Groups with high export value included coffee, rubber, computers, electronic products and components, footwear, textile and garment, yarn, machines and equipments, plastic products, products from steel and iron, etc.
Dong Nai is now exporting its goods to more than 170 countries and territories. The US, China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan and the EU remained the province’s largest importers, contributing over 50 percent to the total export revenue of the province in the first quarter of 2022.
