In Jan-March, Dong Nai’s exports of wood and wooden products reached US$448 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15 percent.
In this period, Dong Nai has exported timber products directly to more than 70 countries and territories. Accodingly, the US is the largest importers of Dong Nai’s timber goods, accounting for 69 percent of the province’s total export value of those products. Japan, the Republic of Korea, Canada and the UK are also identified as main markets for local wood products.
