This has been the third incline since late last year, with a total hike of VND72,000. The retail price of a 12kg cooking gas cylinder now ranges between VND516,000 and VND540,000.
The price rise was attributed to a sharp increase in the global gas price, which is USD950 per tonne now, a rise of USD42.5 per tonne from the previous month.
