Twenty-two out of twenty-seven commodity groups posted increases in the period.
In March, the province’s CPI increased nearly 10 percent from the previous month and 10 percent year-on-year.
During the month, the processing and manufacturing sector rose by 10 percent; electricity production and distribution up over 11 percent; mining up 10 percent; and water supply, and waste and sewage treatment up 4.3 percent.
