The strong growth is likely to be maintained in next months despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
In February alone, Dong Nai’s exports to the US were valued US$675 million worth of goods. Accordingly, export turnover of footwear and wooden products to the US in the reviewed period was valued at US$164 million and US$123 million.
Statistics of the DoIT also show that the export value of machinery, equipment and spare parts to the US reached US$65 million in February this year.
Meanwhile, the export turnover of textile and products from iron and steel to the country hit US$59 million and US$31 million, respectively.
