Of the sum, goods transport contributed more than VND1,000 billion, up 21.6 percent, while passenger transport saw a month-on-month increase of approximately 15 percent.
The increase was attributed to the increasing transport demand during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.
In the coming time, the sector plans to focus on improving service quality, attracting the participation of more economic sectors, and encouraging the development of public transport.
