(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s total revenue from retail trade and services in Dong Nai reached VND18.9 trillion in January, surging 6.32 percent over December, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Retail sales of goods saw a high rise as domestic firms focused on stockpiling goods to meet rising demand of local consumers for the forthcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.
The sectors recording a positive revenue increase include home appliances, food and foodstuff and transport services.
Meanwhile, retail sales in accommodation, restaurant and catering services recorded sharp decreases compared to the same period last year due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic
