(ĐN)- Sales of products and services for 2021 reached more than VND187.8 trillion, a 2.4 percent increase from the previous year, according to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade.
In the structure of retail of goods and service revenues, retail accounted for the largest share with 82 percent (nearly VND154 trillion), a year-on-year rise of 7.5 percent; lodging and dining services, tourism and other services decreased sharply in this period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the country entered another new normal phase with the probability of lockdowns and mobility restrictions remaining low, experts said retail was set to bounce back strongly in 2022.
Accordingly, the province’s total retail sales of goods and services expected to plunge 9-10 percent year-on-year to nearly VND204-206 trillion in 2022
