(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, 31 operating industrial parks (IPs) have produced over 127,000 cubic meters of wastewater a day since early 2021.
Accordingly, the amount of the wastewater brought to the province’s concentrated wastewater treatment plants was reported at more than 99,800 cubic meters a day, equivalent to 87.1 percent, some 27,000 cubic meters of wastewater were permitted for releasing directly into the environment.
In 2021, Agtex Long Binh, Long Thanh and Ho Nai industrial parks upgraded their wastewater treatment plants to a combined capacity of 33,500 cubic meters a day.
As completed, they will help bring the total designed capacity of wastewater treatment plants in local IPs to 195,300 cubic meters a day.
