The sector reported that farm produce staples accounted for over VND24.2 trillion, up 3.4 percent.
Dong Nai is now farming more than 2.5 million pigs. Of the total, 90 percent are raised at farms.
The average annual per capita income in rural areas in the province has increased to an estimated VND61 million. The average agricultural production value hits VND127 million per hectare per year.
