(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Statistics Bureau, the province’s total services revenue in the first eleven months of this year hit more than VND30 trillion due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Particularly, revenue from accommodation and catering services reached VND10.9 trillion, down 38.3 percent year-on-year. Revenue from other types of services obtained VND19.1 trillion VND, fell 14.3 percent compared with the same period last year. The declines are mainly due to impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the period, education and training saw a 58.8 percent drop in revenue in the first 11 months. Meanwhile, revenues from medical sector and information and communications technology increased 8.11 percent and 1.29 percent from the same period last year.
Currently, production, business and service activities resumed in the province after the COVID-19 is put under control. Dong Nai have entered a new normal, a number of wet markets have resumed operations. Travelling and circulation of goods have become easier.
