Dong Nai's seven-month imports up 41.7 pct

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, the province's import turnover reached more than US$11.2 billion in the first seven months of 2021, up 41.7 percent over the same period last year, representing 6 percent of the country's imports.

 

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s import turnover reached more than US$11.2 billion in the first seven months of 2021, up 41.7 percent over the same period last year, representing 6 percent of the country's imports.

Of the total, the foreign-invested sector imported some US$8.9 billion worth of goods and services, up 42.5 percent year-on-year.

China remained as Dong Nai's biggest seller with over US$2.9 billion worth of goods and services, accounting for 25.8 percent of the province’s total import value. It is followed by Republic of Korea, Taiwan, the US, Japan and Thailand.

A number of key imports in the period included chemicals, machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts, iron and steel, plastic materials, etc.
