Export value reached some US$15.2 billion and import value stood at around US$13 billion USD.
The foreign-invested sector enjoyed US$1.56 billion in trade surplus while domestic firms reported a trade deficit of US$185 million.
In August alone, the province’s import and export turnover down 12 percent and 20 percent, respectively, from the previous month because the COVID-19 epidemic has affected production activities of local enterprises. Accordingly, trade deficit also returned.
