(ĐN)- According to Department of Industry and Trade, two-way trade between Dong Nai and China reached more than US$3.8 billion in the first half of this year, up 50 percent from the same period of last year. Of which, Dong Nai's export to China rose by 30 percent to nearly US$1.3 billion while import from China hit over US$2.5 billion, up 69 percent.
China remained the largest export market and the second largest importer of Dong Nai.
Key imports from China included raw materials for textile and leather footwear, iron and steel, electronics and components.
In the first six months of 2021, two-way trade between Vietnam and China hit US$77.8 billion. Of the figure, US$24.4 billion was from Vietnam's exports, while the remaining was from imports.
