China came second with nearly US$1.1 billion, making up of 11.2 percent of the province’s export revenue. Japan followed with more than US$877 million, accounting for 9.2 percent.
Dong Nai’s main export products to the US, China and Japan included footwear, textile and garment, fiber and yarn, machineries and components, wooden products, computers and electronic equipments.
The US was Dong Nai’s largest export market in Jan-May with a trade surplus of US$2.3 billion. Meanwhile, China was the province’s largest import market with a trade deficit of nearly US$400 million.
