(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s forest area totaled nearly 171,300 ha in 2020, with a coverage ratio of 29.21 percent, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
Of the total, 102,300 ha are natural special-use forests, more than 33,800 ha are protective forests while production forests covered around 35,200 ha.
Localities with large forest areas included Vinh Cuu district, some 72,100 ha, Tan Phu district, over 46,600 ha, Dinh Quan district, more than 35,300 ha and Xuan Loc district, over 11,600 ha.
