ASEAN investors pour $152m in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- ASEAN countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines, invested US$152 million in Dong Nai in 2020, bringing their total investments in the province to nearly US$5.15 billion, according to Department of Planning and Investment.

Singapore took the lead with investments in 80 projects worth over US$3.5 billion. Thailand was next with 37 projects valued at more than US$1.3 billion. Malaysia and Brunei ranked 3rd and 4th with investments of US$207 million and US$122 million, respectively.

During the reviewed period, the real estate, agriculture and processing industry lured the majority of ASEAN investment.
