(ĐN)- The Dong Nai provincial Project Management Board on October 2 held a ceremony in Bien Hoa city’s Long Hung commune to break ground for the Vam Cai Sut bridge project.
The event was attended by Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong, Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Cao Tien Dung, and other leaders, representatives of departments, agencies and localities in the province.
The VND330 billion bridge will connect National Highway 51 at Ben Go T-junction with the intersection point of HCM-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway. The Vam Cai Sut bridge will be 649m long and 23m wide, with six lanes, and is implemented with the build-operate-transfer (BOT) method.
The project, which is a key work for socio-economic development along Dong Nai river as well as in celebration of the province’s 11th Party Congress, is expected to be completed within 18 months.
