(ĐN)- Dong Nai is currently among top localities in re-herding pigs after African swine fever outbreaks. The province's pig herd has so far reached nearly 2.2 million, about 193,000 pigs higher than those of 2019.
In the last nine months of the year, Dong Nai’s pork output was estimated at approximately 323,000 tons. The pig herd has increased due to the province is home to most of big livestock companies which have enough conditions to ensure the safety for re-herding and the breeds to be supplied to the market. Notably, some of them have rented local farms to expand their breeding scale.
