(ĐN)- Disbursement of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Dong Nai has reached more than US$20.4 billion so far this year, accounting for 77 percent of the total FDI poured into the locality in the period, much higher than the country's average, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority.

Since the beginning of this year, some US$918 million of FDI capital was disbursed in the province, fulfilling 115 percent of the yearly target.
So far, some 43 countries and territories have invested in Dong Nai with a total investment capital of nearly US$31 billion.
The biggest FDI investors were the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, China and Thailand.
Over the recent years, the foreign-invested projects focus mostly on high technology, supporting industry and environmentally-friendly ones.
