Dong Nai earns nearly $3.1b in trade surplus from Jan-Sept

(ĐN)- Despite the difficulties triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, Dong Nai posted nearly US$3.1 billion in trade surplus between January and September.

 

(ĐN)- Despite the difficulties triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, Dong Nai posted nearly US$3.1 billion in trade surplus between January and September.

The province exported products worth approximately US$13.5 billion in the first nine months of this year, a 6% decrease year-on-year. Meanwhile, imports have reached US$10.4 billion so far this year.

A report of Dong Nai Statistics Department indicated that the province earned some US$85 million in trade surplus in Sept. It is expected to reach more than US$3.5 billion in trade surplus this year.

The US, Japan, the EU, China and the Republic of Korea remained the biggest destinations for local goods in the reviewed period.
