Okada Hideyuki, Chairman of Japanese Business Association in HCM city said Dong Nai is an attractive important destination for Japanese investors during the past few years, adding that the province is now home to 130 operating Japanese businesses and is the locality that has the most and biggest investment scale in Vietnam.
Head of the Dong Nai provincial Customs Department Phung Thi Bich Huong said the event is a great chance for local customs agency to inform Vietnam’s new tax and customs policies; exchange ideas and listen to opinions from the businesses to map out measure to increase the management effectiveness as well as provide support for businesses or petition to the customs sector to fulfill tax and customs policies.
The department is committed to streamlining the goods clearance process and reducing the time involved as well as creating more favorable conditions for enterprises to operate effectively.
