(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s fiber and yarn exports in the first 7 months of this year estimated at US$591 million, a year-on-year decrease of 30.7 percent, reported Department of Industry and Trade.

The decline was attributed to the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak

Although China remained the largest consumer of the province’s fibres and yarns, exports to the market slumped significantly by 18.7 percent in value to US$251 million from January to July period.

Besides, other markets such as Republic of Korea, Turkey, Bangladesh, Thailand and Hong Kong also saw year-on-year decreases of 20 percent, 31.6 percent, 20.5 percent, 50 percent and 42 percent, respectively.
