Short-term loans up 8.5%

(ĐN) - Dong Nai-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent some VND219.4 trillion as of July-end, up 4.1% over the end of the previous year, according to the Dong Nai branch of State Bank.

Of the total, short-term loans accounted for more than VND120.1 trillion, up 8.5%, while medium and long-term ones made up over VND99.3 trillion, down 0.67%.

Bad debts and overdue debts accounted for only 0.69 percent of total loans.

Presently, short-term lending interest rates are between 6 and 9 percent per annum while middle and long-term ones are between 9 and 11 percent per annum. The USD lending interest rate is stabilized at 3-6% per annum.
